    Our Programs

Professional Season: Our seven show professional season offers Broadway quality performances in an intimate 139 seat theatre.

The Fireside Festival of New Works: A festival twice a year featuring both local and national new works by established and emerging playwights.

The Children's Theatre Network - This group offers a diverse cultural education to K-6 grade students. Through a partnership with OmniArts, a Detroit non-profit committed bringing the arts to under-served schools in Detroit we tour to many low-income neighborhoods and at-risk youth.

Our Apprentice Program - Each year two apprentices receive a cumulative total of 90 weeks of paid hands-on training in the areas of Stage management, House management, backstage crew, wardrobe, marketing and customer service.

K-8 acting and dance workshops - Facilitated through the Children's Theatre Network, these workshops introduce children to the power, creativity and fun of live performance.

Summer Internships - High School students gain a comprehensive experience of all elements of professional theatre, including box office, house management, technical and clerical skills.

Theatre classes offer professional actors the classes they need to continue to hone their skills while providing non-professionals with increased self-esteem and creativity, greater self-confidence in front of others, team building skills and emotional self-awareness.

    Our Vision

To add joy and meaning to people's lives through the theatrical arts

To honor our community's intellectual and artistic integrity with the selection of our plays.

To celebrate the expansive possibilities of theatre as an art form through a variety of offerings.

To nurture artists through creative enrichment and development programs.

To promote new plays and the work of new playwrights
